For the eleventh time, the Library am Guisanplatz is participating in Bern’s Museum Night.  This year’s theme is “Fire and Flames” and the Library will be making sparks fly, with blacksmiths hammering on their anvils, drummers drumming on buckets, pots and cans, a volcano multi-media show, a unique collection of documents and letters, the fascinating art of sand painting, the much loved puppet theatre, an interview with the new head of the library in the hot seat, and in the ever-popular children’s face painting.
Before, during and after the event, we will be preparing hot food on our grill, including tartes flambées, hot dogs and baked potatoes.
