New search interface for the Alexandria library network
For the collections of the Library Am Guisanplatz and the Alexandria library network a new search interface is now available.
On www.alexandria.ch a new search interfache for the Alexandria library network is now avaiable. In addition to a revised and more modern design, it offers further advantages:
- responsive design which is optimized for mobile devices
- permanent filters that can be applied for an active session
- search history can be viewed
Currently, the Alexandria library network comprises 18 libraries and documentation agencies within and outside the Confederation. The library catalog of this network contains more than one million registered titles and over 1.3 million copies, of which many are publicly accessible.
