Guided tours
Take a free guided tour to learn about the services offered by the Library Am Guisanplatz BiG and the listed building we are located in. If you wish, you can also take a look at the special collections or our latest temporary exhibition.
The Library Am Guisanplatz BiG is a vibrant centre of learning and knowledge, housed in an architecturally interesting building that combines modern design with listed status.
You have a choice of four different guided tour modules. You can book an introduction to the BiG, to the special collections or to the latest temporary exhibition – or you can combine two or all three of these tours.
Here is a selection of possible guided tours:
- A brief introduction to the BiG (30 minutes)
- A brief introduction to the special collections (30 minutes)
- A brief introduction to the exhibition (30 minutes)
- Guided tour of the BiG including special collections (45 minutes)
- Guided tour of the BiG including exhibition (60 minutes)
- Guided tour of the BiG including special collections and exhibition (60 minutes)
Please note that guided tours take place during the BiG’s opening hours. Groups of 12 or more people can book multiple tours at the same time.
