The Library Am Guisanplatz BiG continually adds new specialist literature titles to its collection. We publish a list of our new acquisitions every month.

The collection of the Library Am Guisanplatz BiG includes specialist literature that employees of the Federal Administration and the Armed Forces need in their daily work. It also houses various special collections consisting of atlases, maps, plans, official publications, photographs, postcards and autographs.

The Library Am Guisanplatz BiG houses various special collections. Because of its origins as the former Swiss Federal Military Library (EMB), these are primarily titles on military history. The special collections also include Georg Heberlein’s autograph collection and Walter Rutishauser’s photo archive.
